A complete aerial system: platform, sensor, team
FAE LiDAR drone: sensor, platform and field mission control
FAE Drones integrates the LiAir V70, selects the platform and configures each flight for the terrain, site area or corridor length, required deliverables and verification criteria.
- Multirotor platforms for complex terrain and hard-to-reach sites
- Fixed-wing platforms for LiDAR and photogrammetry over large sites and corridors
- Monitored telemetry and GNSS RTK/PPK workflows tailored to the project
Sensor and integration
LiAir V70 integrated into an FAE aerial platform
The LiAir V70 is mounted in the central bay of the FAE Rebel Bimotor for LiDAR missions. The integration is designed to provide secure mounting, reliable power and an unobstructed sensor field of view.
Rebel Bimotor can operate with LiDAR, a camera or both simultaneously. FAE matches the configuration to the area, required detail and project deliverables, using its own platform and processing integration.
Platforms with distinct roles
The platform is selected for the terrain, coverage and deliverables
A multirotor provides precise control and can operate from confined spaces. Fixed-wing platforms cover large sites and corridors efficiently. We select the model and payload for the project, rather than use one standard configuration.
Multirotor for LiDAR and complex terrain
Predator V2 and FAE multirotor platforms provide speed control, terrain following and operation from confined spaces. In vegetated areas, ground visibility and ground-point density are confirmed for each project.
A fixed-wing platform for productive campaigns, configured for the data you need.
Rebel Bimotor can operate with LiDAR, a camera or both simultaneously. Sensors, endurance, payload, calibration and accuracy are confirmed for the specific configuration. The adjacent photograph shows Rebel 1960, a separate platform in the FAE family; the LiAir V70 installation on Rebel Bimotor is shown separately above.
Combined payload
LiDAR and an onboard camera on the same flight
The Predator Octa shown here carries both the LiDAR system and an onboard camera, allowing laser measurements and images to be recorded in one mission. Processing and deliverables are confirmed for each project.
Field control and decisions
The mission is monitored and controlled from the field
The operator follows flight-plan execution, telemetry and acquisition progress in real time. Position, altitude, speed, battery status and the control link are checked within the approved operating limits.
The operator monitors telemetry and mission safety
Automation does not replace field oversight. The operator checks flight parameters, the radio link, weather and site safety, monitors acquisition progress and intervenes under the approved procedures when required.
Mobile ground station, GNSS base and RTK/PPK
The controller and laptop are used to plan and monitor the mission. The GNSS base supplies RTK corrections or records observations for PPK processing. With suitable reception and a verified configuration, this workflow can provide centimetre-level positioning; final deliverable accuracy is validated separately for each project.
A configuration for each project
Platform and sensor are selected from the project requirements
Send the site boundary, area or corridor length, coordinate reference system (CRS), deliverables and deadline. The calculator generates an instant quotation, and the team then confirms technical feasibility.
For LiDAR and an orthophoto, describe both results in the same request. We explicitly confirm the configuration, control, deliverables and deadline for the combined package.
