Discover how FAE Drones captures, verifies and transforms aerial data into deliverables for surveying, design and construction progress monitoring.
LiDAR Mission with FAE Predator at Sunset
An FAE operator monitors the Predator multirotor platform during a field mission. The configuration enables rapid data capture for surveying and engineering projects.
Classified Point Cloud for CAD and GIS
The classified point cloud separates the ground from buildings and other objects. The deliverable can be used in surveying, CAD and GIS workflows, in the format agreed with the client.
Measuring a GCP with GNSS
An operator measures a ground control point with GNSS equipment. GCP markers link the imagery to the coordinate system and support deliverable verification.
High-Resolution Nadir Aerial Image
The nadir image captures the ground vertically at high resolution. Successive frames can be processed into orthophotos and models for design work.
LiDAR Survey in a Forested Area
A pilot and a LiDAR drone operate in a forested area. The captured data supports separating the ground from vegetation during processing.
Digital Terrain Model and Drainage Path
The colour-coded model highlights elevation differences and the terrain’s natural drainage path. The deliverable helps designers assess runoff, slopes and volumes relevant to the project.
Launching the FAE Rebel Bimotor Platform
The FAE Rebel Bimotor platform is launched for an aerial data capture mission. Its fixed-wing configuration can support LiDAR or photogrammetry work over large areas, subject to a feasibility assessment.
Aerial Documentation of an Industrial Site
The aerial view documents the industrial site and the relationship between its work areas. Drone data capture can support surveys, inventories and construction progress monitoring.
Mission Control in the Field
The FAE operator monitors the flight in the field with the control equipment ready. Continuous monitoring of the platform and telemetry supports controlled, documented data capture for every project.
Terrain Model, Contours and Segmented Trees
The image combines a terrain model, contour lines and segmented trees. These results turn raw data into information that is easy to integrate into design and analysis.
FAE Predator in Flight with Payload
The FAE Predator drone is shown in flight with its payload installed. The platform is prepared for stable aerial data capture adapted to the site and project type.
Power-Line Corridor in a Point Cloud
The point cloud represents the terrain and infrastructure of a power-line corridor in one measurable view. The survey can support inspection, design and the identification of areas requiring intervention.
Flight Path and LiDAR Point Cloud
The visualisation overlays the flight path on the LiDAR point cloud. The team can check coverage before processing and preparing deliverables.
Aerial Survey of a Built-Up Area
The nadir image documents parcels, buildings and access roads in a built-up area. An aerial survey can reduce field time and provide an efficient basis for design and surveying.
LiDAR Point Cloud in a Forested Area
The point cloud depicts the terrain and vegetation in a forested area. Depending on the available ground returns, data classification can enable ground extraction and the production of the required cross-sections or models.
Aerial Monitoring of Material Stockpiles
The nadir photograph highlights the surface and texture of a material stockpile viewed from above. Periodic drone surveys can support change monitoring and efficient volume calculations.
LiDAR Point Cloud for an Extended Corridor
The point cloud continuously represents the terrain and infrastructure along an extended corridor. FAE Drones adapts the flight and data density to each project's requirements and feasibility.
LiDAR Scanning in a Mountain Corridor
The LiDAR drone operates above a mountain valley where ground access can be difficult. Aerial data capture can provide continuous data for infrastructure and surveying studies, subject to a feasibility assessment.

LiDAR and photogrammetric results for technical evaluation
The gallery brings together imagery from FAE flights and examples of point clouds, classified ground, digital models and orthophotos. The examples show data types that can be integrated into CAD/GIS; the final configuration is defined for each project.
The public examples come from work completed in Romania. For projects in other EU member states, formats, CRS, level of detail and verification are defined according to local requirements and the technical brief.
